Stop fear from getting a grip of you
In this second video, I’ll show you how to breathe in a way that prevents stress and anxiety from getting a grip of you…
My youngest daughter is fiery, passionate, wild and funny. I love her with every cell of my body.
But, mornings like today are hard. Her fire and passion can cause problems too. She got out of the wrong side of the bed (figuratively) and it all went downhill from there - tears and tantrums galore.
It’s at times like that though, that I am so thankful for breathing. I took a few moments to breathe with focus and intent, I calmed down and we eventually got through the morning and got everyone to school. In fairness to her, she started breathing with me. We were pals in the end.
Of course, the things I struggle with are different to the things you struggle with. It could be fear, worry or uncertainty. Whatever it is, they are all pressures. But, there is a way we can conquer those struggles - breathing.
So, in this second video, I’ll show you how to breathe in a way that prevents stress and anxiety from getting a grip of you. You’ll learn how to stay calm when there is a worrying, unpleasant, anxiety-inducing thing about to happen.
