Blissful Breathing for Schools

Our acclaimed programme Blissful Breathing for Children and Teenagers is being used by families all over the world. It teaches people how to breathe in ways that make them feel calm and safe again. We have also created a special version of this programme specifically designed for schools, their staff and their students.

Approach for your school

We customise the approach based on the requirements of each school, but the general approach is as follows:

In-person guided breathing session for school staff, including:

  • Guided breathing session with staff to reduce stress, tension and anxiety

  • We use highly-effective and scientifically-proven ways of breathing to give staff a taste of what this programme is about

  • Overview of “Blissful Breathing for Children and Teenagers” app / website / breathe-along recordings

  • Introduction to the guiding principles on how to facilitate similar sessions for students

    • And how to use the programme to improve their own health and well-being

  • Discussion of how to use these ways of breathing ‘in the moment’ i.e. when they feel anxious or over-whelmed

  • Q&A

  • This entire session usually takes about 45 minutes

Unlimited access for staff to “Blissful Breathing for Children and Teenagers”

This gives an unlimited number of staff access to our online programme for the school year. They can use this in their classrooms for the benefit of their students. Also, they can use it at home for their own benefit and their families.

Follow-up session

After three months, we’ll have an in-person catch-up and breathing session for staff. This is a chance to benefit again from the calming effects of another guided breathing session. Plus, a chance to ask questions and deepen their understanding of how to get the most out of the programme.
